The Crimson Plane

The Red Baron's plane.
The Red Baron is a World War I flying ace. His nickname "Red Baron" is from his red plane. His real name is Baron Manfred Von Richthofen. Even though he fought against them, the English and French honored the German pilot. One day he set out to pursue a rival plane. He followed it deep into allied territory. There, he was met by an army of foot soldiers. He was still in his red plane and attacked the plane he had followed. Suddenly, the soldiers on the ground shot a brigade of bullets at the baron's plane. The plane landed in what looked like a controlled landing. By the time the soldiers got there, the Red Baron was dead. He had a enormous bullet wound in his chest. The soldiers tore up the plane and divided it among themselves. The baron was placed in a cemetery reserved for important people. Flowers were put like a carpet over the grave. The Red Baron died in his thirties. He was the best pilot of the World War.
